Welcome to Move4U.lu, operated by Move4U Sàrl-S in Luxembourg.
By using our website or booking our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Scope of Services

Move4U Sàrl-S provides:

  • Transport & delivery services

  • Small removals and moving help

  • Odd jobs, small repairs, and assistance services

  • Local and regional pickups & drop-offs

  • Loading, unloading, and carrying assistance

  • Other related services as described on our website

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time.

3. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via our website, phone, email, or messaging services.

  • A booking is only confirmed once we send written confirmation (email, SMS, or WhatsApp).

  • By booking, you agree that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

  • Move4U may request additional details if necessary to perform the service safely and efficiently.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices are listed on www.move4u.lu or provided in a personalised quote.

  • Prices may vary depending on distance, time, workload, materials, and special requirements.

  • Weekend, evening, and public holiday surcharges may apply.

  • Payment must be made by:

    • Cash

    • Card

    • Bank transfer

    • Online payment (if enabled)

  • Invoices are issued by Move4U Sàrl-S.

  • Move4U Sàrl-S does not yet have a VAT number; VAT will be added once issued.

Unpaid invoices may be subject to reminder fees and legal collection procedures.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

5.1 Client cancellations

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the appointment: no fee.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours: Move4U may charge up to 50% of the booked service.

  • No-show without notice may result in a 100% service charge.

5.2 Cancellations by Move4U

We may cancel or reschedule a booking due to:

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Vehicle or equipment failure

  • Illness

  • Severe weather

  • Force majeure

In such cases, we will offer the earliest possible alternative time.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate access information (stairs, elevators, parking, restrictions).

  • Ensure that the requested work is safe, legal, and feasible.

  • Inform Move4U of fragile, valuable, or heavy items.

  • Prepare items properly for transport (packaging, protection).

  • Ensure someone is present at pickup and delivery locations.

  • Provide safe working conditions for staff.

We reserve the right to refuse work that poses safety risks.

7. Liability & Damages

7.1 General Liability

Move4U takes great care in handling goods; however, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Poorly packed items

  • Items not suitable for transport

  • Damage caused by hidden defects

  • Losses arising from incorrect client information

  • Indirect or consequential damages

7.2 Limited Coverage

Move4U provides limited liability for damages caused directly by our staff during handling or transport.
Compensation, if applicable, will not exceed the value of the service provided.

For high-value items, clients must request additional insurance in advance.

8. Forbidden Items

Move4U does not transport:

  • Explosives

  • Hazardous materials

  • Flammable liquids

  • Illegal substances

  • Weapons

  • Items prohibited by Luxembourg or EU law

We reserve the right to refuse any item at our discretion.

9. Access & Parking

The client must arrange suitable parking for the vehicle.
Any parking fees, fines, or towing costs resulting from lack of proper arrangements may be charged to the client.

10. Delays

Move4U is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Traffic

  • Weather conditions

  • Road closures

  • Third-party issues

  • Incomplete client information

We always aim to arrive on time but cannot guarantee exact arrival times.

11. Website Use

By using www.move4u.lu, you agree not to:

  • Copy or reproduce content without permission

  • Attempt to disrupt the website

  • Use the site for illegal or abusive purposes

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site secure and updated.

12. Personal Data & Privacy

All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

All text, logos, images, and content on Move4U.lu are the property of Move4U Sàrl-S unless otherwise stated.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Luxembourg.
Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts of Luxembourg City.
